Recent feedback from satisfied customers and reviewers:

"I've been using the eLogger and the sensors and Power Panel display for a couple months now. . . GREAT PRODUCT!! It has already paid for itself two times over detecting over-amp situations I wouldn't have known about until the battery smoked."

Keith, Tennessee

"The eLogger is awesome!!!  It blew my mind on the amount of data that you can retrieve.  I liked how I could see my actual flight time, the amps and battery current and the mAh.  It will definitely help in the long run with problem with the plane.  I can’t wait to add more features like finding out my RPMs."

Joel, California

"Just wanted to say thanks for a great product. I installed the eLogger and the PowerPanel on my Trex 600e and love it. I won't fly without it. Being able to glance at the display and see how much battery power is remaining, and the temp of the battery has saved me hundreds in puffed packs."

Charles, NV

"Thanks for your amazing Glide version. I just received it, and only have 1.5 hours of flight time on it, but it was truly amazing.

I would call myself an intermediate glider pilot. I am able to catch thermals here and there. I normally check out known locations at my flying field to see if there is lift, or depend on hawks, or other gliders to help spot lift. With the Glide, I caught 3 major thermals, and had many, many more indications of lift areas.

I would not have located many of these without the Glide. It makes it pretty easy to find the center of a thermal, and I was even able to follow a thermal that was getting blown down field, something I have never done effectively."

Now I can state without doubt that your company offers the best equipment in this field, at the lowest prices, and your support is among the best of any business I have interacted with. Thanks so much for your superior products and service. I look forward to doing further business with you.”

“Any way you look at it, the CDR is something that I have been hoping for. If you are an information junkie like me, you’ll be ordering yours today.” (product rating: 10 out of 10)

“It seems to me every serious modeler would want to get a Flight Data Recorder to monitor his, and his airplane’s, performance.”
Jim Oddino, RC Modeler

“The potential ramifications of using the FDR are so vast that that it is difficult to imagine all the ways it might affect our hobby…”
Tom Rockwell, QuietFlyer

“The Eagle Tree Systems - Flight Data Recorder is truly an amazing piece of equipment. To think that something this sophisticated can be installed in one of our miniature aircraft is nothing short of a minor miracle.”

" I don't know if it was beginners luck, the smooth air, or data processing techniques I used, but all the data points fell right on a curve that describes a classic glide performance polar diagram. In my opinion, these are phenomenally consistent results, better than I expected to achieve. Based on this, I think your Flight Data Recorder is a significant advancement and will be a truly useful tool for those who are interested in measuring steady-state model performance."

“Eagle Tree Systems’ Flight Data Recorder is an amazing device…The guys in the club will eat this one alive.”
Jeff Troy, Hobby Merchandiser, October 2003

"....I crashed my SuperStinker with the logger on board – really neat. ..... From what looked like a safe altitude and sufficient speed the bipe unexpectedly stalled (from knife edge onto it’s back), and entered into a death spiral. After analyzing the data it seems pretty clear, that

a) I was only about 160 feet high – too low to recover from that problem
b) Airspeed had fallen below 35 mph – I had previously measured the stall speed to be around 40 mph – It seems I caught a blast of tailwind
c) When I was trying to rescue the whole situation the power drain of the servos drove voltage below 4.3 Volts.
Three reasons, each of them significantly contributing to the disaster… For sure, the main reason was my mistake to begin with, but without the data logger I would never have understood WHY?!"
Matias Rajkay, customer

"The interesting part of all this is I was testing the Flight Data recorder, from Eagle systems and I have a complete replay of the flight & crash. The damage sustained was from a 1 point spinner landing at 54 mph.

I learned three lessons:

1. Don't let your instructor think you know what you are doing, cause you don't.
2. Wing bolts are better than rubber bands.
3. The Flight Data Recorder is really a neat tool. "
